The Cabins
Charlottie’s Place - lake view
Charlottie, the previous owner, loved the North County and Culhane Lake! She vacationed here into her eighties. Many who remember staying here are now returning with their children and grandchildren. The cabin’s classic tongue-and-groove pine walls and original plank floors have been fully restored.
Sleeps up to six people. Two queen bedrooms with 12” memory foam mattresses and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.
Propane range and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and gas grill.
Vanity, shower, bed linens, bath and kitchen towels included. There is a new, modern, private outhouse for guests to use just for this cabin.
Huge screened porch overlooking Culhane Lake to enjoy over dinner, a favorite game or just to chill. Plus, outdoor deck with gas grill.
Rents seasonally from May 1st - October 31st. $199 per night for up to 4 people. Add $40 per person per night up to 2 additional persons. Four night minimum required July and August. 3 night minimum May, June, September, and October. 6% sales tax and cleaning charge.
Pets are welcome with pet fee of $40.
Guests are allowed to bring up to two pets in this cabin and must be approved prior to booking. Cats must be litter trained. Dogs must be spayed or neutered and have all current vaccinations. Pets be friendly with other guests, children, and other pets, including the hosts dogs, We do not allow barkers out of courtesy to other guests. We do not allow pets to be left unattended in cabins while you are away unless your pet is crate trained and does not bark or howl. If you place a reservation and there is a problem with your dog barking and/or not being friendly then you may be asked to leave and no refunds will be issued.
Most of our guests come here for the quiet solitude and to enjoy nature. For that reason, we ask all guests respect other guests by keeping noise to a minimum before 8am and after 10pm.
Due to limited space we do not allow atv’s at this property. We do offer free guest use of kayaks for use on Culhane Lake.
The Loon cabin - lakeside
Picture yourself sitting in your living area in front of a wall of windows just feet from the lake’s edge. Open the windows to the call of our resident loons in summer. This cabin is ideal for a romantic getaway or an artist’s retreat. It is bright and airy, yet very cozy with propane heat to keep the cabin snug.

Superior’s Treasure cabin - lake view
With a nod to Lake Superior and the nearby historic Crisp Point Lighthouse, this nautical-themed cabin is situated in the middle of the resort closest to the Rustic Retreat cabin. It has propane heat and electric throughout with an outdoor deck and gas grill.

Rustic Retreat Cabin
This cabin has retained some of the features that have been a part of camp life on this lake since families began coming here yearly in the late 1920s. The Rustic Retreat offers its historical charm as it still has its original pine tongue-and-groove knotty pine interior and propane gas lighting. Although it’s rustic, it has recently gone through a complete renovation which includes a modern kitchen, indoor bathroom and electric service throughout the cabin.
